Meet Gabby, one of our 2015 Seniors from Park Tudor High School!
Q. Tell us a little bit about you:
A. My name is Gabrielle, most of the time I go by Gigi or Gabby. I’ve always been an outgoing person and I love food. I am Filipino, I go to Park Tudor School and I’m also a competitive cheerleader.
Q. What are you most looking forward to in your Senior Year?
A. What I’m looking forward to in my Senior Year is all the excitement for college. It’s a step into a new chapter in my life. I also can’t wait for the Senior Privileges that only Seniors get at Park Tudor. A lot has changed from when I was a freshman, to now. I can’t wait for what is to come within my Senior Year, I have big goals and dreams for myself and I’m so excited to see them finally coming together. Oh I also can’t wait to graduate hahaha!
Q. What is your favorite type of music/band or artist?
A. I honestly love all types of music… I’m more of a Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, and Rap girl though and you can also see this page to know more about it. A couple of my favorite artists would have to be Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Lil Wayne. Imagine Dragons is definitely one of my favorite bands.
Q. What are your plans for the future?
A. The college that I’m hoping to be accepted in and also plan to attend to is Indiana University. I want to go and major in Biology and other sciences that I will need to get into medical school. I first want to become a Nurse, this way I’ll not only be able to learn but also work and earn money while I learn. My ultimate goal is to become a Plastic Surgeon and Move out west to California. I want to go to graduate school at the University of California Los Angeles and finish my medical school there. This has been my dream since the very beginning and I’ve honestly had this planned out for forever. In college I want to be a part of the All Girls IU Cheer team also.
Q. What kind of activities or sports are you a part of? Favorite things to do outside of school?
A. I have been cheering for about five years now. Both within school and competitive cheer. However, recently I quit school cheer to dedicate my time towards my competitive cheering for Indiana Elite All Stars. Cheerleading is literally my life, I’m in the gym all the time. I’ve grown so close to all the girls on my team, they’re like my second family and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of a gym like Indiana Elite. I am also one of the Head Chairs within the Prom committee, I’m so happy I am able to be a part of this. One of my favorite things to do is planning events, I’ve been able to do so much for this upcoming prom and I am so happy to say that The Siners Photography will be the photographers at the prom thanks to Ashley Siner and her wonderful crew. So much is coming together and I can’t wait for it! My absolute favorite thing to do outside of school is to be around my bestfriend and boyfriend, Alex. We’ve been dating for almost two years now and he’s such a big influence in my life always pushing me to be the best that I can be. Not only that but I love being in the gym and going out with friends.
Q. Tell me something unique or something people don’t know about you!
A. Well, this might be gross… but a lot of people don’t know that my hands sweat when I get really nervous or really excited! One of my favorite foods are potatoes and I’ve always been really into fashion, and have honestly always wanted to be a model. I’m so short though so it really didn’t workout for me haha. A lot of people don’t know that I am Flilipino, I’m always told that I look Hawaiian for some reason. I love being in front of the camera and when I set my mind to something I’m usually the one to make sure I achieve my goals.
Q. What is your best quality?
A. One of my best qualities I think of myself is my confidence. I’m a really outspoken person and I’m not afraid to stick up for anyone and or what I believe is right. I love being there for the ones I love and giving them advice, and I love making others feel good when they’re feeling sad. I’m really athletic so I’m always in the gym or in the cheer gym working out.
