For Alex and Lydia, downtown Indianapolis became a sophisticated stage for their wedding weekend. The day began inside the historic Scottish Rite Cathedral, where every room seemed to whisper stories from a century past—ornate wood-carved details, hand-painted glass windows, and original light fixtures casting warm, golden light. 

Before the ceremony, portraits were taken at a nearby historic monument, the couple framed by the energy of the city—chic, modern, and unafraid to feel timeless. Their ceremony unfolded in the cathedral’s historic theatre, a breathtaking space where velvet seats and soaring balconies made every guest feel part of something grand. Lydia’s gown glided across the aisle as soft light filtered through stained glass, and Alex waited beneath a vaulted arch that held decades of history in its bones.

The celebration moved into the grand ballroom—ornate, elegant, and washed in tones of soft whites and lush greens. Drapery cascaded from above, florals overflowed from classic vessels, and the chandelier shimmered like a crown over the room. As night fell, the space transformed into a magnificent party, where a live band kept the dance floor full until the final encore.
