The heart of our country is the Midwest and that is where our roots lie. But as lovers of telling a beautiful story our experience as wedding photographers and visual storytellers has taken us all over the world. You deserve to have your story told and documented and that is what we are here for. Just think, years from now you will be sitting with your grandkids flipping through your wedding album and looking back on the moment and the day that started you on your journey and began your legacy.
It can be tough during the busy wedding season to step away from the week in and week out wedding schedule but as a photographer I think we all need to continue to push and drive ourselves to accomplish bigger and better shots. Bob and Dawn Davis have been one of the greatest mentors to me and I just love every time I shoot with Bob because I walk away more challenged and determined to get better. He is one of the greatest coaches and teachers of photography I have met! I love the way he uses all the available light that he is given and creates his shots by adding light in. Here are some fun shots I got from part one of Bob’s WTF (What the Flash) workshop this week! All shots created using off camera flash in some way.
