I love when we take the time to slow down a little bit and focus on spending quality time as a family! Yesterday we explored the world of Conner Prairie, an interactive history park that takes you back to the 1800’s! 🙂
Candle making time!
I love all of the fun games that Conner Prairie has for the kids. In “1836 Land” each of the kids get to choose a job they would like and then they have a list of chores they have to accomplish to complete their job. Ella chose to be a cook and Zeke chose to be a farmhand! 🙂
Off to find Ella some food to cook!
Zeke loading the food into his wagon!
We found a kitchen for Ella to cook her food in!
Now it is Zeke’s turn to find the farm house owned by “The Zimmerman’s” and help out with their animals!
To finish out our trip to Conner Prairie we visited “Civil War Land”!
Huge thank you to 2014 bride and groom Doug and Anna Roolf for the gift of a Conner Prairie membership this year! The memories and time we get to spend as a family are priceless! 🙂
