We all have either had to put together a class project or helped one of our kids design their project to present to the class. Have you ever looked at these moments preparing and thought to yourself “This is so much fun!”? We do! This week was project week at our house! Our son was star of the week at his school! He was asked to think of all of his favorite things and find pictures to put on a white poster board to describe what he loves. So we took this time to have a fun family day helping him create his board and practice for his presentation.
I challenge you to look at these moments as opportunities. Opportunities to teach, opportunities to encourage, opportunities to laugh, and opportunities to just be present in your kids’ lives! Some of the best memories are right in front of us and ultimately all we need to do is to be there and be in the moment with our kids!
